The Internet/Social Media Policy of Casino RSM Cobras FC is a reflection of the Football Federation of Australia’s (FFA’s) Code of Conduct/Ethics concerning all club members or those associated with the club, including: players, parents, coaches, managers, officials, volunteers and spectators.

The term “Social Media” is defined as websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. E.g. Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram, You Tube.

The term “Club Member” is defined as any person associated with Casino RSM Cobras FC including: players, parents, coaches, managers, officials and volunteers.

The web is not anonymous. Club members should assume that everything they write/post/send can be traced back to them.

Club members of Casino RSM Cobras FC or any other users, engaging with the Internet or any social media websites or applications are bound not to engage in any behaviour which could be deemed to:-

1. Bring Casino RSM Cobras FC or the sport of football into disrepute.

2. Harass, threaten or humiliate any other club member/s.

3. Be a personal attack on any other club member/s.

4. Discriminate against any club member/s on the grounds of race, religion or sexual orientation.

5. Encourage others to do any of the above actions.

Club members who fail to honour and abide by this Internet/Social Media Policy should be aware that such behaviour may result in the sanctions prescribed in the FFA’s Code of Conduct/Ethics. These sanctions include: warnings, fines, suspensions and expulsion from Casino RSM Cobras FC.

Casino RSM Cobras FC reserves the right to in those circumstances which it deems to be serious, refer reported instances to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
